The dog owner knows it: it is absolutely not obvious to administer medication to a quadruped. The dog’s sense of smell is  much better developed than that of man. It is their most important sense and an extra-large part of the dog’s brain is intended for recognising odours. Where a person has about 5 million fragrance receptors, dogs have more than 100 million, depending on the breed. These catch the odour signals and then transmit them to the brain. Dogs can identify odours up to ten thousand times better than people, no wonder they easily recognise a pill. 

Some dogs turn the administration of medication or supplements into a true fight. There are several tricks to facilitate that, but these do not all work effectively, or the dog has quickly established how it works. It is therefore often seen that the dog eats its pieces neatly around the pill that is hidden between them. And what about pills that need to be administered outside the feeding times to benefit from their effect? 

The transporter offers the solution for both pills and tablets. Put the pill or tablet in the opening provided and rub or queeze the biscuit somewhat close around the pill. A capsule can be put in the round hole, a tablet can be slid into the side slit. First give your dog a few of these candies and then use the medicine. Your dog will continue to associate the candies positively, making it easier to use this trick more often. The Transporter contains delicious chicken liver to link the absorption of medication to an extra tasty experience. The pleasant odour, composition and taste make it easier to absorb the pill. For smaller dogs you can cut a piece and knead it into a ball.
